WEST HARLEM, MANHATTAN
教室はマンハッタンのウエストハーレム（マンハッタンヴィル）、コロンビア大学近くにあります。お子さまから大人まで、一人ひとりに合わせたレッスンを行います。
The studio is in West Harlem (Manhattanville), near Columbia University. Lessons are tailored to each student, from young children to adults.

ご自宅へ伺っての出張レッスンも承ります。お手持ちのピアノで、慣れた環境のまま安心してレッスンを受けていただけます。訪問エリアはお気軽にご相談ください。

Piano Lesson
私はソルフェージュ（歌うこと）をとても大切にしています。ソルフェージュを通して、次のような力が養われるからです。
I place great importance on solfège (singing), because it develops:
同時に、音感・リズム感・和声感も育みます。鍵盤を見ずに楽譜を見ながら弾く力や、ひとつの音だけでなく複数の音を聴きながら演奏する力も身につきます。
Solfège also builds a sense of pitch, rhythm and harmony. Students learn to play while reading the score instead of watching their hands, and to listen to several voices at once.
テクニックは、一人ひとりに合った練習曲を通して、手の形、腕の使い方、指のトレーニングなどを行い、着実に向上させていきます。自分が表現したいように、歌うように演奏できるよう導いていきます。
Technique grows through études chosen for each student, working on hand shape, arm movement and finger training. The goal is for every student to play the way they want to express themselves, as naturally as singing.
小さな生徒さんは、体を使ったリズム遊びから始め、音感・リズム感・強弱の表現などを体で感じながら育てていきます。
Young children begin with movement-based rhythm play, feeling pitch, rhythm and dynamics with their whole body.
Method
カムジー先生直伝のカムジーメソードによるカリキュラムをもとに、プリスクールでのイベントや定期レッスンなど、ご要望に合わせたカリキュラムを作成して行います。
Using a curriculum based on the Kamug Method, learned directly from Kamug-sensei, I create programs for your needs, from preschool events to regular lessons.
カムジーメソードとは、カムジー先生が考案した、リズム音楽をツールに、楽しさの中で心を閉じない力「楽力（がくりょく）」と「キラキラ瞳」を育む方法です。NHKのテレビ・ラジオ番組や雑誌などでも取り上げられている、新しいタイプのリズム音楽教室です。
Created by Kamug-sensei, the method uses rhythm and music to grow, through fun, a heart that stays open: gakuryoku, the strength that comes from enjoyment, and kirakira hitomi, sparkling eyes. This new style of rhythm music class has been featured on NHK television and radio and in magazines.

ピアリンメソードとは、カムジーメソードをもとにした、物事を受け入れ、想像し、表現する豊かな心を育てる方法です。音楽に限らず、あらゆる芸術分野、そしてコミュニケーションの基礎を育みます。
Building on the Kamug Method, the Piarin Method nurtures a rich heart that can take things in, imagine and express. It lays a foundation not only for music but for every art, and for communication itself.
人は日々、物事を認識し、解釈し、表現しています。絵を描くことも、人とのコミュニケーションもそうです。音楽も同じで、経験や出来事を自分なりに理解・解釈し、音楽という方法で表現します。「チューリップ」の歌を歌うときも、ただ漠然と歌うより、自分が一生懸命育てた庭のチューリップを思い浮かべて歌うと、まったく違う歌に聞こえるでしょう。
Every day we perceive, interpret and express the world, whether we are drawing a picture or talking with a friend. Music works the same way: we make sense of our experiences and express them through sound. A child who sings the "Tulip" song while picturing the tulips they worked hard to grow in their own garden sings a completely different song.
私が子どもたちに伝えたいのは、自分の力で物事を受け入れ、自分なりに考え、表現していく豊かな心です。
What I want to give children is a rich heart that takes things in, thinks for itself, and finds its own way to express.
この時期の子どもたちは、周りから実に多くのことを学んでいます。感受性豊かなこの時期にさまざまなものに触れ、想像し創造する楽しさを育み、音楽を楽しむことを通して豊かな心を育てていきます。
Young children learn an enormous amount from everything around them. In these sensitive years they explore, discover the joy of imagining and creating, and grow a rich heart by enjoying music.
心を込めて物事を表現できるよう、音楽を通していろいろな表現の方法を身につけていきます。
Through music, they learn many ways to express what they feel, with their whole heart.

Biography
東京都出身。幼少よりクラシックピアノと音楽教育を受ける。フェリス女学院大学音楽学部ピアノ科卒業。学生時代より作詞・作曲と歌を始め、ピアノ弾き語りのスタイルで都内のライブハウスを中心に活動。ジャズピアノトリオ、CMソングのレコーディング、バックミュージシャンとしても活動する。
Born in Tokyo, Piarin studied classical piano and music from early childhood and graduated from the piano program of the Faculty of Music at Ferris University. As a student she began writing songs and singing, performing as a singer-pianist at live music venues around Tokyo. She has also played in a jazz piano trio, recorded commercial jingles and worked as a backing musician.
ピアノ講師として、子どもから大人まで幅広く指導。音楽の可能性の広さを再認識し、ピアノ講師である母、音楽教育に携わる父とともに、幼児音楽教育の活動も始める。現在はニューヨーク・マンハッタンを拠点に活動している。
As a piano teacher she has taught students of every age, from young children to adults. Inspired by how much music can offer, she began working in early childhood music education with her mother, a piano teacher, and her father, a music educator. She is now based in Manhattan, New York.
